ULV Mathematics Faculty

This program supports scholarships for academically talented students with financial need, enabling them to enter the high-technology workforce following completion of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics (CSEM).

Criteria for Scholarship Recipients

1. 3.0 GPA or above.

2. Declaration of a major in Computer
    Science or Mathematics.

3. Current enrollment in a major course.

4. Full time student status.

5. Recommendation letter addressing
    academic potential from a H.S. teacher or
    counselor (for new students), or a professor
    (for current students).

6. Evidence of community service.

Conditions for Renewal

1. 3.0 GPA or above.

2. Declaration of a major in Computer
     Science or Mathematics.

3. Current enrollment in a major course.

4. Full time student status.

5. Demonstration of satisfactory academic
    progress, especially in the student's
    major.

6. Evidence of community service and/or
    professional growth.

7. Endorsement by the Principal
    Investigator (Dr. Liu) and department
    faculty.
