Learning Enhancement Center

Looking for an academic boost? ULV's Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) is here to help you excel in every course. The LEC offers free academic support of all kinds, including tutoring, workshops and one-on-one assistance.

At the LEC you can:

• Improve your math skills
• Receive writing help
• Practice your English, Spanish, German, French and Japanese language skills
• Use the computer lab for writing papers and working on special projects
• Pick up tips for more effective studying, time management and test taking
• Take required placement tests for mathematics, English or foreign languages

Tutoring, individual guidance, educational software and resource books and materials are all available for your use. The LEC is located in the Student Resource Center and is generally open all day, Monday through Friday, with some weekend and evening hours. Stop in to improve your study habits and your GPA!
