Scholarships for the 2007-08 Academic Year

Academic scholarships are available, based on academic performance:

• Freshman scholarships, based on academic performance and test scores, are available up to $12,000 per year.
• Transfer scholarships, based on academic performance, are available up to $7,000 per year.

Financial Aid

ULV students may apply for federal, state of California, and institutional grant programs. To be considered for maximum funding, you should file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 2. Be sure to list ULV as one of the six schools to be sent information. The FAFSA code is 001216. If you are a California resident, be sure your GPA Verification Form is also submitted no later than March 2nd. It is advised that you obtain a proof of mailing certificate from the post office.

• Over $25 million in grants were awarded to students demonstrating financial need in the 2006-2007 academic year.
• Other aid includes student employment programs and low-interest loans for students and parents.
