Chris Finley and Tiffanie Morrow

Spatial
September 27 - October 30, 1999

Spatial is a mini-survey of sculpture by the critically acclaimed California artists Chris Finley and Tiffanie Morrow. Embracing the "compare and contrast" format of the conventional art history slide lecture, the exhibition returns to the recent past in order to offer a focused look at a particular aspect of these artists' multi-dimensional production. Curated by critic Virginia Rutledge, Spatial features work that embodies systems of spatial description and notation informed by contemporary ideas regarding interactivity and virtuality, and which locate Finley and Morrow's sculpture at the center of an important and trend current in art.
