2006 NCAA WEST REGION VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The University of La Verne is pleased to be hosting the
West Regional of the 2006 NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament.

DIRECTIONS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF LA VERNE: Link to Maps

San Bernardino Fwy. (I-10) to Fairplex Dr. exit (from east, look for Fairplex/Dudley exit.) Go north (right from the east, left from the west) on Fairplex to L.A. County Fairgrounds. Turn left (west) and follow Fairplex Dr. along the perimeter of the fairgrounds, continuing north on E St. past the traffic signal (Arrow Hwy.) to Third St. Turn left (west) on Third and then turn left on C Street.

Foothill Fwy. (I-210) Eastbound: Exit at Foothill. Continue east on Foothill to Wheeler Ave. Turn right (south) on Wheeler to Third St. (one block past Bonita Ave.) Turn left (east) on Third. Turn right on C Street.

Foothill Fwy. (I-210) Westbound: Exit at Fruit St., turn left (south). Fruit will turn into White Avenue after crossing Foothill Blvd. Continue south on White to Third Street. Turn right on Third (one block past Bonita Ave.) and continue (west) to C Street. Turn left on C Street.

ADMISSION/PROGRAMS/MERCHANDISE:

Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students and $3 for seniors and children under 12 for each session (see schedule below). All seating is general admission. First round ticket sales will be purchased in the ULV athletic office begining Thursday at 10 a.m. Entrance gate will open 1 hour prior to the first match. Tickets for Friday's semifinal matches will go on sale following the first match on Thursday inside the Sports Science & Athletic Pavilion at the merchandise counter. Please call (909) 593-3511, ext. 4261 for further information on ticket sales.

NCAA-provided programs will be on sale inside the Sports Science & Athletics Pavilion.

NCAA Tournament merchandise will be available for purchase in the Sports Science & Athletic Pavilion during tournament play, while supplies last. Teams may purchase merchandise before or after practice on Wednesday.

    (3) Pacific Lutheran vs. (6) Redlands

  • Match 3: Thursday November 9th - 8:30 pm
    (4) Cal Lutheran vs. (5) Cal State East Bay

  • Semifinals: Friday November 10th
    Linfield vs. Redlands - 4:30 pm
    La Verne vs. Cal Lutheran - 7:00 pm

  • Regional Final: Saturday - November 11th 7:00 pm
    Cal Lutheran vs. Redlands
BROADCAST INFORMATION

LVTV-3 will broadcast each of La Verne's matches in addition to the championship match.

The audio portion of the broadcasts can be heard on 107.9 KULV Radio on the internet.

Each of the broadcasts will begin 10 minutes prior to the match.
