The Biology Department provides students with a solid background, enabling them to compete successfully for jobs on their chosen profession, adapt to future changes, and pursue graduate education. The Biology Department offers majors in Biology, Environmental Management, and Natural History, helping to prepare students to pursue areas in teaching, the health professions, environmental management, and research. The Department also encourages interdepartmental majors. Opportunities are available for collaborative study in special areas of student/staff interest. B.A. and B.S. majors are developed with the advice of the student's advisor.
