In the second period of the game, University of La Verne guard Marissa Raya battled against Cal Lutheran guard Johanna Rothermel to keep her team ahead at the Russell J. Frantz Athletic Court Feb. 9. Although Raya had a total of 20 points, it was not enough to beat the Regals as the Leopards lost the game, 64-63. With the loss, ULV drops to 15-6 overall including 8-2 in conference play. La Verne will take on Caltech on Saturday in Pasadena.
