E-waste to be Collected

The City of La Verne will be collecting electronic waste from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow in the Bonita High School parking lot. The donated electronic equipment, including PC systems, monitors, telephones, laptops and cell phones, will be recycled for this one day event. For more information, call (888) 345-4570.

Voting Results

The Associated Students Federation Forum has announced the results of the recent referendum held to pass the new ASULV Constitution and the stipend proposal for executive officers of ASULV starting 2006-2007 school year. The first referendum was to pass the new constitution and set of bylaws, and the second was to approve the stipend for officers; both referendums were passed.

Career Fair

The University of La Verne’s Career and Development and Placement Center will be holding a career fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 7 in Sneaky Park. ULV students, alumni and the La Verne community are invited to the free event, and are encouraged to dress in professional attire and bring their résumé. Blackboard Week at ULV

The Center for Teaching and Learning will host its last meeting for their event “Blackboard Week at ULV” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Center for Teaching and Learning.
