Mozart turns 250 years old

The University Chorale and Chamber Singers will perform an “All Mozart Concert” beginning at 8 p.m. today at the Church of the Brethren. The performance will be conducted by Stephen Gothold. Faculty soloists include sopranos Carol Stephenson and Melissa Macintosh-Landis. Tickets are $5 for general admission and students are free.

New swans in the lake

Matthew Bourne’s “Swan Lake” will be performed at the Ahmanson Theatre through Sunday. Bourne, director and choreographer, is known for combining genres to remake classics. Ticket prices range from $30 to $85.

Iraq War Speaker

Iraq War veteran and ULV graduate Robert Parry will give a lecture entitled “Media Coverage of the Iraq War” at 7 p.m. March 27 in Founders Auditorium. Parry is not speaking as a representative of the U.S. Armed Forces.
