Athletics Classes

The athletic department wants to know if students are interested in taking hip hop or karate classes next school year.

The department is also interested in whether students prefer to attend these classes in the mornings or evenings.

La Vernacula Submissions

La Vernacula is currently accepting submissions for the spring 2007 issue.

Students are encouraged to submit poetry, short stories, essays, drawings and pictures related to Latin American culture.

These submissions will be accepted in both English and Spanish and all submissions will be translated by the editorial board.

Submission boxes are located in Davenport, Leo’s Den, Wilson Library and Miller Hall.

Submissions can also be e-mailed to Laura Bucio at lbucio@ulv.edu.

The deadline for submissions is March 30.

Soccer Try-Outs

If anyone is interested in playing men’s soccer in fall 2007, try-outs will be held on March 26 and 28 on the football field from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
