Teaching Award
Letters of nomination are now being accepted for the Excellence in Teaching Awards of 2008. The nomination deadline is April 21, and accolades will be given at ULV's annual Faculty and Staff Recognition Ceremony on May 9.

Survival Skills
The Wilson Library and the Learning Enhancement Center will be conducting a Research Survival Skills Workshop, from 3:30 p.m.-5 p.m., on Thursday in Wilson Library Room 172.

Diversity Essay Contest
The deadline has been extended to April 14, so email your papers to the Growing with Diversity Committee ASAP. Papers should be emailed to waleckij@ulv.edu.

Nike Reuse Program
The Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) is attempting to aid the “Nike Reuse a Shoe” program in its efforts to build playgrounds for underprivileged children in the Los Angeles area.

There are designated spots to donate your worn and unused tennis shoes to this program on campus including the coaches’ office, Woody Hall, Founders Hall, Davenport Dining Hall, and Wilson Library.

Literacy Fair
ULV’s Third Annual Family Literacy Fair will be held from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at the University of La Verne. The fair is free of charge.
