Surveillance Lecture

The department of Sociology and Anthropology invites you to a lecture by Gary T. Marx, a sociological analyst of surveillance and social control.
He will speak on “Being Watched and Watching in the New Surveillance Society,” at 7 p.m. April 30 in La Fetra Auditorium. Faculty, staff and students are invited.

Faculty Book Day

Faculty will give brief presentations on their publications in the last year from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m April 25 in the Wilson Library Foyer.

Admission is free and there will be book signings. A buffet lunch will be served. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Study in Brazil

A presentation on international research and study in Brazil will be held from noon to 1 p.m., May 1 in the West Dining Room. RSVP to Cheryl Walker Johnson at (909) 593-3511, ext. 4942.

E-waste Recycling

The city of La Verne is hosting a free e-waste recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Bonita High School parking lot.

They will collect working and non-functional electronics waste products. For more information call 909-596-8741.
