In the theater production “A Dying Network,” actors Natasha Velasco, playing Missy, and Sean Larson, playing the director Andy, argue about whether red or black shoes would go well with Missy’s dress. A frustrated Andy shuns Missy’s inquiry and goes on to deal with the greater issues surrounding the production of the various television pilots, from a homeless cannibal making “guest appearances” throughout the play, to the quirky actors who serve as his victims. This comical and creative production, written and directed by Steven Ferrand, ran for four days in Founders Auditorium. |
