Dear Editor,

I enjoyed reading last week's article “Noteworthy ULV faculty honored” (May 5) that described the wonderful 2006 Faculty and Staff Recognition Ceremony, however I must say I was sorely disappointed to see absolutely no mention of either the Classified or the Administrative Employee of the year awardees. Maggie Mantecon, OIT Office Coordinator (Classified Employee of the Year) and Heather Nishioka, University Relations Manager of Grant and Foundation Support (Administrative Employee of the Year) were selected this year as outstanding examples of the high caliber support staff this University has working for it. Congratulations Maggie and Heather, you too are noteworthy!
