Tim Durkovic’s Last Concert

After eight years with the University of La Verne, Artist-in-Residence and Coordinator of Keyboard Studies Timothy Durkovic is moving on, but not before one last concert for his extended ULV family.

Durkovic will be accompanied by soprano Melissa McIntosh-Landis, and will be performing works from Chopin, Brahms and Liszt.

The concert will be tonight at 8 p.m. in Founders Auditorium. General admission is $5 and students get in free.

For more information call the music department at (909) 593-3511, Ext. 4921.

An Evening of Party, Prose

Creative writing enthusiasts will be converging on the Cabaret Theater this Tuesday night for not one but two great events.

A launch party for the Spring Prism Review will kick things off at 6 p.m., while the Advanced Life Writing Class will be presenting its ethnographic drama projects starting at 7:30 p.m. The pieces are compiled from interviews with community members and other ULV students.

For more information, contact Kirsten Ogden at (909) 593-3511, Ext. 4363 or kogden@ulv.edu.

‘The Whole Picture!’

The paintings of eight students in Ruth Trotter’s Art 370 class (Donald Anthony, Dave Arnold, Lucinda Chalmers Lorena Hernandez, Jaclyn Ly, Christine Mavyan, Alexia Megalemou and Gerson San Juan) will be on display in an exhibit entitled “The Whole Picture!” from May 23 to 26 on the second floor of the Arts and Communications Building.

An opening reception will be held at 7 p.m. on May 23, and all are welcome to attend.

For more information, contact Dion Johnson at (909) 593-3511, Ext. 4273 or johnsond@ulv.edu.
