Registered nurses of Pomona Valley Community Hospital Medical Center took to the streets Wednesday, with pickets signs and concerned voices, in protest of unsafe staffing levels and unfair pay. The protest started Wednesday morning and will last for five days. Nurses Ingela Dahlgren and Hikmat Wattar, accompanied by Wattar’s 4-year-old daughter Aya, walked the line in front of the hospital on Garey Avenue.
