Parking Permit Enforcement

Starting Oct. 2 Campus Safety will begin issuing fines for parking on campus without a proper parking permit.

Students, faculty and staff are reminded that orange parking permits are no longer valid and no one is allowed to park in any red parking spaces on campus.

BSA Meeting

The Business Student Association will meet Tuesday, Oct. 2 to discuss upcoming events as well as have an opportunity to meet and greet new members.

The meeting will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. in Hoover 117.

New members are welcome, and students do not need to be business majors to join.

Procrastinators Anonymous

A workshop will be held to focus on how to manage your time wisely, get things done and stop procrastinating.

The workshop will be held from 3 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 5 in Hoover 117.

Gardening and Irrigation Class

The city of La Verne along with the Three Valleys Municipal Water District and the Metropolitan Water District will be holding a class titled “Protector del Agua.”

The course will focus on the basics of irrigation systems, watering and fertilizing, landscape design and plant identification.

The class will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, in the La Verne Community Center.

Tennis Club Practice

The tennis club will meet 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Blickenstaff Tennis Pavilion for its weekly practice all those who are interested in joining are welcome.
