Business plan workshop

The University of La Verne’s Center for Strategic Thinking has put together a series of Executive Educational Workshops. The next in the series will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 16. The event will be held in the President’s Dining Room. Attendees will learn how to plan a successful business plan. The cost is $25 and it is open to the public. Reservations are required.

Holiday open house

This holiday event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 25 in Old Town La Verne. There will be a display of classic cars until 4:30 p.m. and pictures with Santa from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Police Expo at Fairplex

The Pomona Fairplex will hold a Police Expo and family security show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow.

There will be displays and entertainment for kids. Police Departments from the area will be participating.

Parking is in Gate 9 on White Avenue. The cost is $5 and free for kids under 12.
