Thanksgiving with LVTV-3

The La Verne community Television station invites you to tell viewers, “What I Have to be Thankful For.”

Come to the taping from 7 to 8 p.m. Nov. 15 to be on TV at the LVTV-3 Studio on the corner of Arrow Highway and D Street.

The program will run on Thanksgiving Day at noon and 6 p.m.

The cost to be on TV is one can of food for the hungry.

Business Plan Workshop

The University of La Verne’s Center for Strategic Thinking has put together a series of Executive Educational Workshops.

The next in the series will be held from 7:30-10 a.m. Nov 16 in the President’s Dining Room.

Attendees will learn how to put together a successful business plan.

Cost is $25 and it is open to the public. Reservations are required.

Holiday Open House

This holiday event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 25 in Old Town La Verne.

There will be a display of classic cars until 4:30 p.m. and pictures with Santa from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

A donation of unwrapped toys for needy children in La Verne is suggested.
