Community Triathlon

Claremont McKenna College will host the Half Spirit Triathlon at 9 a.m. on Sunday, beginning at the Axelrood Pool at the Claremont Colleges.

The Triathlon will include swimming, biking and running.

There is a $5 entry fee.

Raffle tickets

The Classified Committee is selling raffle tickets to win four Disneyland tickets and $100 spending cash.

Raffle tickets are $2 each or $5 for three.

Tickets can be purchased at Leo’s Den or from any of the committee members.

The drawing for the winning tickets will be held Nov. 20.

Saturday story time for kids

Claremont Graduate University will host, “Over in the Meadow: Counting Songs and Stories,” from 10 to 11 a.m tomorrow at the Stone Center for Children’s Books.

International Speaker

Fathia Al Joumaily, sociologist and criminologist will speak at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at La Fetra Auditorium.

Joumaily is a Fulbright Scholar at College of Mt. St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Joumaily will also speak at noon and 7 p.m. on Thursday at the President’s Dining Room and in Hoover 127, respectively.

International Festival

The Study Abroad Center along with the International Student Organization will host the International Festival at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday in Sneaky Park.

There will be Albanian cuisine as well as music and dances from around the world.

Booths will share the different cultures and countries represented at ULV.
