‘Candide’ in Glendale

The Full Circle Opera Project presents Bernstein’s “Candide,” at 8 p.m. today at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. The cast includes 40 vocalists from the LA County High School for the Arts.

Rico’s music-filled weekend

Rico Coffee’s weekend lineup is packed with live performances beginning at 8 p.m. today with Exit Us followed by King Nosmo. At 8 p.m. on Saturday, ULV students Becky Tuttle, Steven Andrews and Nicole Pond’s band Azure Awakening is scheduled to perform and many more.

Death Cab rocks Wiltern

Death Cab for Cutie is scheduled to perform at 8 p.m. both today and Saturday at the Wiltern Theatre. This Washington-based quartet has been a favorite amongst the indie rock scene since the late ‘90s.
