This year’s introduction to international cultures at the University of La Verne was held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Sneaky Park. The International Festival was hosted by Philip Hofer, the Director of the International and Study Abroad Center. The event offered an opportunity for students to learn about different ethnic groups on campus. Jing Zhuang hosted the China booth, which was visited by Kenneth Marcus, associate professor of history. Other groups participating in the event included Mongolia, India, Ecuador and Greece. The festival was sponsored by the Study Abroad Center.
