Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Sigma Kappa will be hosting a walk-a-thon from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Ortmayer Stadium track.

The organizations are walking for the American Diabetes Association. Diabetes affects more than 20 million children and adults in the United States. One member from each of these greek organizations has been diagnosed with diabetes.

There will be music provided by KULV and a raffle with a chance to win prizes. They will also be accepting donations.

The same day Iota Delta will be hosting its annual Bowl for Breath from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chaparral Lanes in San Dimas.

It is free to bowl, but there is a $3 charge for shoe rentals. All proceeds will go toward the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

For students who want to get involved and make a difference on campus, the Associated Students of University of La Verne is accepting applications. All applications will be due Tuesday in the Office of Student Life, located on the second floor of the library.

Do not forget that Nov. 27 is the first day of registration. Begin making appointments with your advisors before the break.
