The only sport ever to be played on the moon is golf. Astronaut Alan Shepard hit a golf ball on Feb. 6, 1971, while on the Apollo 14 mission. With his 21-layer spacesuit he could use just one arm so his first shot only went a hundred feet, but his second shot sent the ball, as he said, “miles and miles.”
