CBEST Review

The movement and sports science department is sponsoring a CBEST review workshop. It will be held on Friday mornings in January from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. There is no fee to attend the workshop.

Student Art Show

Business Conference

The Center for Strategic Thinking is looking for companies to make presentations at its “Learning about Venture Capital” conference. The conference will be held on Jan. 31 and will present information for those trying to get venture capital financing in the region.

Companies should submit their proposals by Jan. 15.

Everyone is invited to the conference. Admission is $50 per person, but reservations are required.

Movie Tickets

Leo’s Den is now selling discounted movie tickets to Edwards movie theaters for only $7, as well as discounted tickets for local attractions and amusement parks.

The box office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Course Evaluations

Course evaluations for the fall semester are now available online under MyULV until Friday, Dec. 23. Evaluations will help faculty, programs and departments improve.

Winter Commencement

Due to the large number of students participating in the January commencement, students eligible to graduate have until today to fill out the preference form to state whether or not they want to defer their participation to the spring commencement ceremonies.

Holiday Fest

Come by the Civic Center Plaza on Bonita Avenue in San Dimas for the Holiday Fest.

This family fun event will be held on Dec. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but families can have breakfast with Santa between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

There will also be nine tons of snow for children to play in, a holiday craft fair, a parade, live entertainment and attractions.
