Accreditation
The University of La Verne is accredited by the
Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and
Universities of the Western Association of
Schools and Colleges*, and is approved by the
California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
for offering credentials in several areas. The
College of Law is provisionally approved by the
American Bar Association. The Doctor of
Psychology Program is accredited by the
American Psychological Association. The
Masters of Public Administration degree is
accredited by the National Association of Schools
of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA).
The Athletic Training Education Program is
accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of
Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
The Legal Studies Program is approved by the
American Bar Association.

Memberships
The University of La Verne maintains
memberships in many organizations. Among
them are the American Assembly of Collegiate
Schools of Business, the American Association of
Colleges and Universities, the American Council
on Education, the Association of Independent
California Colleges and Universities, the College
Board, the Independent Colleges of Southern
California, the National Collegiate Athletic
Association, the National Collegiate Honors
Council, and the Western Association of Schools
and Colleges.
