First Year Experience Course

Through the Office of Student Life, the University of La Verne offers a First Year Experience course for all traditional undergraduate first year students. The course spans the fall semester and continues a student's orientation experience through their selected college. Faculty representing the various colleges will teach each section of the course. Each section includes unique academic material as well as general instruction to facilitate a successful transition for students entering with a major and those who have yet to declare a field of study.
