Welcome to the College of Business and Public Management. On behalf of the faculty and staff in the college, we welcome you to our website and invite you to explore our programs and the opportunities that await you as either an undergraduate or graduate student.
The college offers professional programs in business administration, public administration, health care management, gerontology and organizational management & leadership. Our programs are some of the most popular programs at La Verne because they offer the type of education that employers want.
Employers want graduates in the 21st century to have a broad understanding of business, public administration, or health care management and how all the functions fit together, good communication skills, ethical awareness, an ability to deal with change, an ability to analyze problems effectively, and the ability to use technology strategically within an organization. Each of the programs offered in the College of Business and Public Management are designed to provide our undergraduate and graduate students with a broad-based management education that emphasizes the application of theory to management practice and builds conceptual skills and core values needed to become effective leaders and managers in today's rapidly changing global environment. In fact, that is our college mission!
The College of Business and Public Management takes pride in offering programs for full-time traditional-aged students or working professionals interested in a convenient part-time degree program. In addition to our main campus in La Verne, many classes are offered at various regional campuses throughout Southern California or online to provide maximum convenience and flexibility to students.
