To be eligible for acceptance into the M.S. Leadership and Management Program, a potential student must have:

  • A complete Application for Admission
  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum grade point average of 2.75 for the last two years of study
  • A current resume and statement of purpose. The statement of purpose is a written statement of goals and objectives for obtaining this specific degree
  • Two positive recommendations from the applicant's academic and/or professional network
  • An interview with a member of the MSLM faculty
  • Newly admitted students are required to begin their MSLM experience by attending an alumni-designed-and-led Saturday orientation session before the beginning of their first term in the program

International students must submit a TOEFL score of at least 550 as well as required financial documents.

Transfer Credit

With the program chair's approval, up to 12 semester hours of graduate-level credit may be transferred from other universities into the M.S. Leadership and Management program. Courses must be from a regionally accredited school and directly relevant to the MSLM degree program. Additionally, transfer courses must have been taken within the past five years, with earned grades of at least ÒBÓ.
