Do you feel called to serve your community as an instructional leader or guide? Then, the College of Education and Organizational Leadership can prepare you!

The College of Education and Organizational Leadership offers a broad range of programs to prepare professional educators in a number of specialties including child development, elementary and secondary teaching, special education, pupil personnel services, school psychology, reading, child life, and educational and organizational leadership. Because of its long and rich tradition of excellence in the preparation of thousands of outstanding professional educators, the University of La Verne has come to be recognized as one of the leading institutions engaged in the preparation of professional educators in all of Southern California.

The College of Education and Organizational Leadership has one of the largest and most successful programs in the country for training executive leaders at the doctoral level. More than 125 graduates of the Doctoral Program in Organizational Leadership are currently superintendents in California. More than 100 others hold key central office leadership positions in school districts while approximately 165 are serving as principals in California school districts. More than 100 of our doctoral graduates hold leadership roles in higher education while another 40 or so fill important leadership roles in the California Department of Education. The University of La Verne is clearly among the leading higher education institutions in producing executive leaders for California.

We at the College of Education and Organizational Leadership are pleased to offer programs for traditional-aged students as well as working professionals attending on a part-time basis. We offer classes on our main campus in La Verne and at regional campuses throughout California.
