Please note: You can ONLY order customized announcements online. Generic announcements (no name or degree) will be available in the ULV Bookstore beginning April 2008.

What is a graduation or commencement announcement and to whom should I send them?

Traditionally, the graduation/commencement announcement is the formal written announcement of your impending graduation. The announcement, specifically designed for ULV's Commencement Ceremony, notifies your family and friends of your name, degree, and major, and date of the ceremony.

Is the ULV Commencement announcement an invitation to the ceremony?

Traditionally, graduation/commencement announcements do not serve as an invitation to the Commencement Ceremony. Due to the size of our ceremonies, we must limit the number of guests that each candidate may invite. The smallest announcement package will contain 25 announcements. As a result, these announcements can serve to inform your family and friends of this momentous occasion whether or not they can attend your ceremony.

How long will it take to receive my Commencement announcements?

Once you have placed your order online, it will take about 4-6 weeks for delivery. Orders that are placed after April 25, 2008 will incur an additional "rush" charge of $55.00 that will be added to the order.

When should I send out my Commencement announcements to my family and friends?

You should address and send out your Commencement announcements 3-4 weeks before the Commencement Ceremony.
