Custom Regalia Purchase
All doctoral and law candidates that are planning on participating in their respective ceremonies in Spring 2008 have an opportunity to purchase ULV Custom Regalia. NO ONLINE ORDERING IS AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOM REGALIA ORDERS THIS SPRING.
The custom regalia ordering options include: gown, hood, tam (6 sided), and tassel. A sample of the custom regalia is available for viewing in the Office of Commencement Services on the main campus. In the near future, a color sample will be added to the web site.
Description: The basic custom ULV gown is a Jefferson style green gown, with green velvet front panels and sleeve bars, with orange cord piping on the edges of the green panels and bars. The hood matches the gown material, with velvet colors of orange and green colors on the inside of the hood. The cap is a six sided green velveteen tam. The tassel is orange.
Important: If you are planning on ordering custom regalia and want to save money, please consider ordering on the following two dates. A 20% discount will be given on all custom orders on these two dates only. Prices will vary depending on material options.
- Saturday, March 8 at the Grad Fair, from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. , at the Cap and Gown Sales Booth Main Campus, Sneaky Park
or
- Thursday, Feb. 21st , at the Custom Regalia Sales Day, from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., on the Main Campus, in the Student Resource Center Conference Room
If you are unable to order on these specific dates, contact the Office of Commencement Services for a general purchase order form.
Very Important Note for Spring 2008 D.P.A., Ed.D, and Psy.D. Candidates only: If you are planning on ordering custom regalia for Spring 2008, please contact a Commencement staff member (Martina Miraflor at ext. 4765 or Ruby Montano-Cordova at ext. 4858) regarding your hood prior to placing your custom order.
In order to ensure delivery for the Spring 2008 ceremonies, all custom orders must be completed and turned in to the company by Friday, March 28, 2008. Any order placed after this date...will not be guaranteed for delivery by your Spring Commencement ceremony date.
Last date to order custom regalia for Spring 2008 delivery is Friday, March 28, 2008.
