Experience:
Maia is the lead professor for the multimedia concentration within the Communications major. She teaches computer-centered graphics classes in multimedia design, Web design, print design and motion graphics. She has over fifteen years of professional experience in graphic design and over fourteen years experience in teaching. Prior to joining the ULV team, she developed and taught the Digital Graphic Design and Publishing Certificate program for Cal Poly, Pomona. Maia brings to the classroom a passion for teaching, compassion for students, carefully designed learning activities and the real-world knowledge to prepare students for employment in the graphics and multimedia-related professions.
