Confidentiality Policy
The Counseling Center follows a strict policy of confidentiality between client and counselor. No information regarding a client's experience can be released from the Center without the client's written permission.

Exceptions to the Confidentiality Policy
The only exception to this policy is in the case of child or elder abuse, or when an individual is clearly in danger of self-harm, or harm to others, in which case the counselors are legally required to report it to the appropriate authorities and/or individuals.
