Leopards freshman Rachel Taylor works toward the goal against Kary
Staider of Bucknell University in the first match of the 2000 Coyote Classic
water polo tournament. The Leopards finished with one win and three losses
in the tournament at Cal State San Bernardino. Their next tournament will
be the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which will
run from April 28-30. The site is yet to be announced.
La Verne's swim team produces four All-Americans at the Division III
National Championship.
The women's tennis team remains winless after falling to Cal State San
Bernardino.
It was a close match, but Jerrod Hesler could not pull it out to beat
Whittier.
A 15-match losing streak is snapped in dramatic fashion against New
York University.
Despite ULV's poor showing on the court, the Asics Men's Classic Tournament
is still judged an overall success.
The women solidify their league lead with a blazing performance at the
SCIAC Round Robin Tournament.
Another lead slips away against Redlands, 317-324.
The Leopards improve to 12-3 with wins over William Patterson and Montclair
State.
