Among the youngest entrants of Saturday's chili cook-off in downtown La Verne, brothers Jimmy Ramos, 13, and John Ramos, 10, and friend John Driver, 9, are cutting venison from a deer hunted by Driver and his father earlier this year. The young cooks were under the supervision of Mina Tribble as they created their chili in hopes of winning the cook-off.
