The University of La Vernes Alex Vasquez (No. 54) takes a shot against
Michael Brandt (No. 44) from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Saturday evening in the
Supertents. The Leopards lost to the Stags, 92-80, in ULVs third consecutive
loss of the conference season.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps unseats the SCAIC-leading women's basketball team,
67-42.
Losses to Pomona-Pitzer send the men's and women's teams into the conference
finals on the rebound.
Wins over tough Master's College and Cal Baptist teams give Leopard fans reason
to be optimistic about 2004.
The Leopards take their third straight loss, 92-80, to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
