Freshman Gerlaine Kianco threw the eight and a half pound shotput
34' 1" on Saturday at Pomona-Pitzer. Twelve schools competed in 19
track and field events. Kiamco also competes in the javelin event, the discuss
and the hammer.
The upset puts the baseball team at 4-2 going into SCIAC play.
A loss to Claremont isn't enough to keep the Leopards down, as they
defeat Whittier and Pomona-Pitzer.
Men's volleyball keeps on rolling against UC Santa Cruz.
The softball team sweeps its doubleheader with Cal State Hayward.
The tennis teams come out swinging to start the season.
The women's basketball team ends its season on a high note against Whittier.
