In “Robert Johnson: Tricked by the Devil,” Georgia Mayberry, played
by Rob’n Lewis, a graduate of the University of La Verne, cradles Johnson,
played by Nasir Najieb, who was murdered at the age of 27. The play is set in
1938, in a Mississippi juke joint where Mayberry works.
