Baroque Music

The University of La Verne department of music presents "An Evening of Baroque Music" at 7 p.m. tonight in the ULV Chapel. The event will feature music by Bach, Handel, Leonarda, Vivaldi, and Francisque. Admission is free.

Beethoven Trio

The Beethoven Project trio will be performing at 8 p.m. in Founders Auditorium. Project members include Margaret Parkins, cello, Genevieve Feiwen Lee, piano, and Sara Parkins, violin. General admission is $5, students are free.

Movies

Premiering in theaters everywhere is "Anger Management" starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson.

Also opening today is "House of 1000 Corpses." This is rock star Rob Zombie's directorial debut about a group of teens trapped in a road-side museum.

Rock band the Deftones has just released their track list for their upcoming album set to be released on May 20.

Music Charts

No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the second consecutive week, is 50 Cent's single "In Da Club." The single has been on the Hot 100 for 15 weeks. This week's greatest sales gainer is "Picture" by Kid Rock featuring Sheryl Crow. For more music chart information, go to www.billboard.com.
