The University of La Verne men's volleyball team recorded their first loss this season to a Division III school in the championship game of the Molten Division III Men's Volleyball Invitational Championship in New York City on April 24 to Springfield College of Massachusetts, 30-28, 27-30, 27-30, 30-28, 15-11.
