Every man's fantasy comes true in the film "The Sweetest Thing," which is directed by Roger Krumble.

The movie is about beautiful women who are not looking for commitment, but are out to have a good time.

Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate and Selma Blair are best friends who all play a part in this "player's club."

The three friends just want to have fun. In some cases they will go to any length to have a good time. They all dress to impress, read relationship books and end up sitting on their couch chatting in their San Francisco apartment after a long night of playing the field.

Diaz is not looking for romance at a nightclub the girls frequently attend, but romance somehow randomly presents itself on the dance floor.

Thomas Jane plays the part of a blonde Ken doll lookingman that Diaz falls for.

Diaz goes to great lengths to find Jane after they separate at the club that night. She and her crazy girlfriend, Applegate, take a road trip three hours north to supposedly attend Jane's brother's wedding.

Disaster strikes when they arrive and see Diaz's man at the altar. He sees her at a brief glance before the girls get a chance to skip town.

This leads to many misunderstandings and the plot does not thicken much from there, but it does leave you chuckling.

The characters are very entertaining and full of energy, but viewers should not expect much when attending the film. Try to be prepared so as not to be disappointed.

The movie does not have much substance, but it is definitely satisfying in the comedic department.

If you are looking for a good laugh, see this light hearted comedy., however, do not expect to have to use your brain. Instead, you will leave the theater feeling cheery, and happy that you saw this somewhat comedic film.
