High-risk sex offender Eric Kristian Rosvold is being forced out of his Cork Circle home in La Verne. A Marin County Superior Court judge ruled April 30 that Rosvold had 45 days to leave.

Rosvold has been living in the 1300 block of Cork Circle in since February with his fiancée and her mother.

Neighbors and community members began picketing the home of Rosvold in late February after the La Verne Police Department began posting community warnings.

As a result, the Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Gail Erlich filed a motion requesting Marin County to change Rosvold's probation.

Rosvold has been living within 1,500 feet of Oak Mesa Elementary and a day-care facility. The deputy district attorney asked the court to change Rosvold's probation, requiring him to live a certain distance away from day-care centers, schools and parks.

The court granted the deputy district attorney appeal to Rosvold's probation agreement and said that Rosvold is to be out of his home within 45 days and may not visit his fiancée or her mother in their home.

Rosvold was convicted in 2000 of committing indecent acts on three children, all three of whom he knew.
