Summer calls for cool, clean shoes

For many women, shoes are an important part of a wardrobe.

Shoes complete an outfit and show a person's style.

This summer a variety of shoes are popular, and depending on how much money you want to spend, you can always find a good looking pair of shoes to go with every outfit.

They are a classic upgrade for the season that come in many colors.

Esprit double slide platform sneaker slides have a 1 and three-quater-inch platform sole.

University of La Verne sophomore Jennifer Gretel owns approximately 180 pairs of shoes in many different colors and styles.

She said her favorite thing to do is go shoe shopping in her free time.

"I love buying shoes whenever I have money. It's so much fun shopping for them. I have a pair of shoes for every one of my outfits," she said.

Freshman Michelle Fontanez owns all kinds of shoes, but mostly sandals.

"My favorite store to buy sandals at is Nordstrom's because they have good quality shoes," she said.

Sophomore Denise Muñoz also purchases her shoes at Nordstrom's.

"I love wearing funky, fashionable high heels with jeans or a dress. Black shoes are my favorite color since they go with anything," she said.
