The University choirs will present “Music of the U.S.A.” as their fall concert. The event will take place at 8 p.m. tonight and tomorrow in Founders Auditorium. Come experience a broad range of music including the Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein and the world premiere of Professor Reed Gratz’s composition “Women for the Truth.” Admission is free for students and $5 for general admission.
An Evening with Neil O’Shea: “The Irish Writers Entertain,” will be presented by the English and Theater Arts departments at 7 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the President’s Dining Room. For more information, contact Kent Badger at Ext. 4223.
The deadline to submit work for Prism Review magazine is Oct. 22. Poetry, drama, interviews with writers, screenplay scenes, fiction, literary non-fiction, black and white photography and illustrations are now bring accepted at the Humanities office in Miller Hall. The Arts and Sciences Campus Diversity Initiative and the English Department present “Reflections on Identity, Politics, and Culture” at 5p.m. on Oct. 19 in the West Dining Room. Poets Antonio D’Alfonso and Pasquale Verdicchio will lead the discussion and reading.
