Human Resources and Halloween

The Human Resources Department will be hosting its annual open house at 2 p.m., Oct. 31. They will have prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a cake walk.

They will also have a "Wrap Your Mummy" contest. To participate in the contests, make reservations at extension 4076.

Communications Day 2002

Communications Day will be held today, in the Arts and Communications Building. University of La Verne faculty will conduct workshops for visiting high school students in news writing, photography, web page design, newspaper reporting and radio and television production.

The keynote speaker for the event will be KTLA Morning News reporter Gayle Anderson. Her address to students will begin at 11:30 a.m. in Dailey Theatre. For more information, call extension 4291.

The Haunted Vineyard

From Oct. 17 through Nov. 1, CIFX, a special effects company, will present the Haunted Vineyard. It is located in Guasti Plaza in Ontario. Admission is $10; handicapped access is available.

Rock against kidney disease

Starting at 2 p.m. on Oct. 29 to Oct. 30, Phi Sigma Sigma will host their annual rock-a-thon in the Quad to raise money for the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation.
