Christmas Matters, a group of holiday carolers, was hired to perform at Pomona’s annual tree lighting ceremony Dec. 6. The singers Kevin Blackleg, Linda Ainsworth, Kathy Cady and Michael Sheets joked about not being able to perform many songs because the crowd’s attention was focused on the stage where local area students were also singing carols.
