The University of La Verne women’s volleyball team captured third
place during the NCAA Division III Championships in the Supertents. The Leopards
swept Emory University, 3-0 (30-24, 30-25, 30-24) in the consolation match Saturday.
Despite a disappointing loss to Washington in the semifinals, the women's
volleyball team holds on the clinch third place in the national championship
tournament.
The American Volleyball Coaches Association give Amy Smith its top national
award.

quarterback Rollie Dykstra continues his difficult physical and mental rehabilitation.
