Greek Sale

A representative from Greek Row will be on campus with Greek paraphernalia for all national fraternities and sororities today from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Alzheimer's Walk

The annual Memory Walk for the Alzheimer's Association is tomorrow at the Los Angeles Zoo. Celebrity speakers will include Shelley Fabares from "Coach," Lea Thompson from "Caroline in the City," David Hyde Pierce of "Frasier" and Adam Wylie of "Picket Fences." The entry fee is $20, which includes an official Memory Walk t-shirt and goodie bag. The walk starts at 7 a.m.

Kim Visit

On Thursday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m., Rep. Jay Kim (R-41st District) will speak in La Fetra Auditorium on "The Performance of the 104th Congress." The presentation, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the International Studies Institute and the History and Political Science Department of the University of La Verne.

Safety Expo

The ULV Contingency Management and Task Force, along with the La Verne Fire and Police Department, will sponsor a Preparedness/Safety Expo in Sneaky Park today from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Participants will provide disaster preparedness products, information and demonstrations. Companies that will be participating in the event include GTE, Home Depot, American Red Cross, Southern California Gas Company, Edison and many more. There will be a barbecue today from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for $5.50. Student meal cards will be accepted. For more information, contact Charli Muell at ext. 4074.

Coffee Hour

Every Wednesday, the Campus Ministry hosts a Holy Hour Coffee House from 8-10 p.m. in the Chapel Seminar Room. Everyone is welcome to drop by for a free cup of cappucino, a pastry and "Star Trek."

Homecoming Booths

Homecoming booth applications will be accepted by ASF Friday, Oct. 11, from 3-5 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 14, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the ASF Office in the Student Center. Booth space will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Contact ASF at ext. 4677 for an application and full set of rules.

Debate Tournament

The ULV debate team will travel to Biola University for a tournament tomorrow and Sunday.
