Senior halfback Lisa Thomas (#12) dribbles the ball as Occidental's

women's soccer team went on to shut out the Tigers, 5-0. The win firmly
keeps La Verne in second place behind Cal Lutheran in SCIAC with an 8-1
record. They are 13-4 overall.
Chapman and ULV will face off tomorrow.
Men's soccer is defeated against Occidental and Pomona-Pitzer.
Women's volleyball team defeats Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
